Our friends over at Mitre Oak, based in the foothills of the Malvern Hills had been busy hand crafting the Oak framework for a charming property over in North Worcestershire and the brief was simple. Lift the existing block paving and install two 450mm x 450mm x 920mm concrete footings with low brick walls – in preparation for their skilled Joiners to provide the finishing touches…
With the timeless appeal of Oak, blending well with the period property, it was important that the brickwork was sympathetic to the build too. Up stepped these circa 1700 beauties, set for a new lease of life after we salvaged from the demolition of a local rectory less than 10 miles away.
